A romantic and ‘sauvory’ journey through the streets of Testaccio

A romantic and ‘sauvory’ journey through the streets of Testaccio

Starting from Europe’s only pyramid (visitable first and third Saturday of the month) the Cestia Pyramid which is inside the XVIII-century Non-Catholic Cemetery, the final resting place of poets like John Keats, or philosophers like Antonio Gramsci, writers like Camilleri and artists, lots of artists, we will stroll through the tipical early XIX century workers’ quater where famous street artists left their sign but not only…how many times cinema has chosen this quater to shoot movies? Let’s discover it! We will end our morning with discovering the local and joyful culinary scene by visiting market stalls, old patisseries and eatiries.

Our stroll will last 4h including food tasting through the market stalls.
