Itinerary 1
The Pio-Christian Museum, the only exhaustive Christian museum in the world, containing of archaeological findings from the Christian catacombs, the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica of St. Peter’s at the Vatican City.
Optional: the Christian catacombs of St. Domitilla along the Appian way to be reach by taxi or sedan car.
Itinerary 2
From the domus ecclesia underneath the basilica of Ss. Giovanni e Paolo, to the excavations underneath the basilica of St. Clemente, the Church of Ss. Quattro Coronati, the Church of St. Stefano Rotondo.
Itinerary 3
From the basilica of St. Praxedis with its IX century votive chapel entirely decorated in mosaics to the basilica of St. Maria the major, to the Lateran complex, the IV-century baptisery, the Scala Santa, the basilica of St. John in Lateran and its medieval cloister.
Optional: the basilica of St. Croce in Gerusalemme and the medieval garden of medicinal plants still kept by the monks.
